Axis is looking for a Contract Manager to work with R&D contracts. If you like handling agreement and have an interest in technology this position could be for you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be responsible for the entire process of negotiating and managing license, development and other agreements necessary for securing the technology supply in Axis' R&D projects. This will require you to take an active part in the negotiation process, identify risks and issues as well as suggest alternatives that would lead to feasible solutions. You will be the link between R&D projects and the Legal Department, which will provide you with a great opportunity to collaborate with people with different skills and backgrounds. The counterparts in the contract negotiations will mostly be foreign entities, which will require from you a good understanding of cultural differences and ability to negotiate under such circumstances. The main working language will be English.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A successful candidate should hold a law degree or degree in contract management. You should have a proven experience from working with contracts involving Software, Intellectual Property and Computer Science and be comfortable with drafting documents in the field of Information Technology in accordance to templates and guidelines. We are looking for a self-motivated outgoing person who dares to ask and is ready to take on matters where the underlying contract matter is sometimes complex. You should also be confident in taking an active part in negotiations with a counterpart.
