As a Contract Engineer you will be monitoring the progression of an order from contract signing to commissioning completed and hand over of equipment to customer. You are responsible for management of the orders in accordance with scope of supply, delivery schedule and terms and conditions agreed in the contract and you will be the interface between Sales Department and Production to ensure contract execution.
At times you will make visits to the customer and shipyard to review the delivery schedules and provide any updates to the business or the customer if necessary. You will also liaise with the service engineers/service manager for installation assistance for the customer.

The role is responsible for providing technical advice to the contracts team and supporting the contract supervisor and global contract manager with technical expertise. You should be able to lead technical discussions with external interfaces with comfort and confidence.
The incumbent is responsible for

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Efficient order management which includes project scheduling, lead and co-ordinate the project/commercial team and suppliers as well as to ensure correct scope of supply including both trading and main equipment.
• Assess and highlight to management, risks involved with specific orders.
• Provide drawings and technical data to customers.
• Follow up on letter of credit with customer and Finance department.
• Preparing sales orders in the business system and ensure orders in the system are up to date.
• Follow up on letter of credit with customer and Finance department.
• Liaise with service engineers/service supervisor for installation assistance to yard.
• Ensuring the delivery and accuracy of all documentation to customers (i.e. installation manuals, service manuals, certificates etc.).

• A university or collage degree in an engineering field
• 3-5 years of work related experience
• Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages
• Good knowledge in Computer Aided Design and technical drawing skills
• Good organization skills
• Highly customer focused
• Good communication, interpersonal and collaborations skills
