The Role

As a Continuous Improvement Manager (CI Manager) you 're accountable for leading cross functional CI initiatives, analyze and design workflows that improve efficiencies interfacing with other departments to identify improvement opportunities and sharing best practices with a focus on the transactional processes.The CI manager partners closely with the local Management team to spread the Lean Six Sigma culture within the organization with main objectives. The role has an exciting blend of strategic and operational content and will be instrumental in driving change to enable our continued success on the market. The role is also part of the Xylem CI community with access to Lean expert colleagues, best practices and learning resources.

Responsibilities:

* Creating value for transactional functions through processes optimization, gaining productivity, therefore better cost management
* Facilitate, train and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools to approach problems and projects
* Useinternal and external customer feedback to improve processes
* Work with leaders and teams to uncover and assess Lean Six Sigmaopportunities
* Constantly seek, share and implement best practices
* Communicate teams' progress to CI Director Transport and Local Management Team
* Assure appropriate metrics to validate Lean projects result achievementand track improvements
* Facilitate the reporting process for key business metrics

The role is placed at Xylems office in Stockholm, and you will report to the Director Continuous Improvement GC Transport.

Is this you?

The right candidate for this role has a Bachelor 's degree in Engineering or similar. You have minimum 5 years of continuous improvement experience with a good knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/black Belt) required. Your experience preferably includes exposure to transactions operations or manufacturing related functions. Proven project management and leadership abilities in a matrix team environment is needed.
You have excellent command in English. High Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) is essential for the role.
