Based on the global Quality improvement program and together with the global business unit management, the Northern Europe region is driving a change program to enhance cross-country competence and resource collaboration, improve process efficiency, and strengthen the quality culture within System Integration. As Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader for the System Integration Hub Business Unit in Northern Europe, you will play an important role for the successful implementation of continuous improvement culture and practices within the region.

In this role, you will serve as a change agent. You will train, coach and mentor Quality and Continuous Improvement Leaders across Northern Europe. You will teach continuous improvement thinking and culture, lead major Improvement projects cross countries, cross functions, and also lead Kaizen events. You will challenge conventional thinking and drive accountability for operational results.

You will be part of building a strong performance culture based on high-quality data, data analysis and fact-based problem solving.

We are looking for a continuous improvement leader who leads by example. With a positive attitude you are able to empower others and drive sustainable change through influence rather than formal authority.

You have solid experience from driving improvements and leading change and you are able to challenge conventional thinking, approaches and methodology of "how we've always done things". You have a track record of delivering breakthrough results.

You work and manage efficiently in a matrixed organization. You are an effective communicator in the English language and you tailor your message appropriately to all levels of the organization.

You have strong problem-solving skills and you work with a data-driven approach, both asking for data and able and willing to analyze data in order to highlight prioritized problems and eliminate root-causes. You are skilled in project management and experienced in leading projects.

You hold an MSc degree in Engineering, Business Economics or equivalent with valuable experience from areas such as Project Management, Engineering, Quality and Process Improvements.

You have a good understanding of general quality concepts with solid experience from implementing Lean principles and working experience from both Lean and Six Sigma. Preferably, you hold a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience from working with an Operating System such as the Toyota Production System is a strength. Additionally, it is preferred that you have knowledge of change management models and principles.

You will be part of the Power Grids division, which is the world's leading supplier of power and automation products, systems and service solutions for the entire value chain from power generation to the transmission and distribution of electricity. Our offer spans transformers, HV products, systems for power transmission and solutions and automation for integration and interconnecting power grids - to enable a stronger, smarter and greener grid. The Power Grids Grid Integration (PGGI) business unit supplies stations, systems solutions and service for transmission and distribution facilities. Customers are power companies, industry and other companies that need to be connected to power networks.

ABB (ABBN: SIX Swiss Ex) is a pioneering technology leader in electrification products, robotics and motion, industrial automation and power grids, serving customers in utilities, industry and transport & infrastructure globally.
