You will be working together with all sub-units within the operations department with determining the necessary improvement activities to reach the job safety, productivity, cost, quality and delivery targets and commissioning the improvement projects. You will report to the Plant Manager. Geographically this position is based in Norrköping, Sweden.
Main tasks
Ensure safe working practices are developed and maintained within the plant
Work with continuous improvement and develop methods for these
Develop advanced manufacturing methods, technical know-how to build future-oriented manufacturing standards and solutions
Focus on maximizing productivity and profit by analyzing process and quality data to identify opportunities and create solutions
Ensure that quality standards are achieved and maintained and that solutions meet customer expectations
Ensure the implementation of 5S requirements, internal controls, reviews and audits
Provide 5S training to employees
Participate in and lead new projects
Work in coordination with cross-functional teams
Your qualifications
Degree in engineering
Background in manufacturing industry in a similar role
Experience of change management and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
Fluent in Swedish and English
Driver's license
Personal characteristics
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels. You are a team player with ability to gain trust and engage and motivate your team. Further, you are results focused, responsive and analytical.
