The Technical Publication System team at Schneider Electric Buildings AB in Malmö consists of 5 dedicated people. The team's task is to manage all the technical information for StruxureWare Building Operation, which is the building management system developed by the EcoBuildings R&D department.
Job Description
You will work in an agile driven organization and support our technical writers located in 6 different sites over the world. Your job is to administrate and maintain our web-hosted, XML-based content management system in which all the technical information is stored and the web portal where all the technical information is published. All the information is written in English and you will also coordinate the translations into about 10 different languages via the content management system's built-in translation tool.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a driven person with at least 3-5 years experience in administrating and developing xml/html-based systems.
You have a university degree, Bachelor of Science or equivalent. You are familiar with computer-aided translation, SQL database management, style sheet development for both the Web and PDFs, XML and HTML coding. The tools that we use are DocZone (DOCATO database, Xopus XML editor, XTM translation tool), TopLeaf, Visual Studio and Creative Suite.
You need to have excellent skills in English, both written and spoken.
