Product & Market Intelligence (MI) is the unique provider of vital information and insights on consumers, competitors and markets within Volvo Car Group. We guide and influence all major Volvo Car Group business decisions with our knowledge, conclusions and recommendations on consumers, competitors and markets. We now seek an engaged, experienced, and energizing Consumer Insight Analyst to join our team.
The Product & Market Intelligence department is a global organization and a part of Product Strategy, GCE. As Consumer Insight Analyst you will report to the Senior Manager Consumer insight team, based in Gothenburg.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Full responsibility of the studies/databases in the Customer area, such as our segmentation study SIGMA and our Brand & Advertising Tracker. This means continuous development, planning, execution, analysis, reporting, sharing and educating. Secure a strong leadership of the external research agencies and a strong leadership in delivering insights and recommendations to the stakeholder organizations.
* Secure we drive usage of the consumer insights in a way that is create actions and effect our business in a valuable way.
* Create analytical and communicative visualizations.
* Develop and implement new deliverables based on stakeholder needs.
* Communicate cross Volvo Cars the customer insights based on data analyses
* Support the vehicle and unit programs with relevant data
* As the other in the team be supportive to extensive clinics and research projects
Desired Background
* Master or equivalent university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics or Behavioral Sciences
* Knowledge and/or experience of statistics, consumer segmentation and customer research
* Analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills, to structure and analyze information and draw meaningful conclusions
* Project management skills and experience
* Experienced in analytical tools, like SPSS, SAS, mTAB or similar tools
* Fluent in English written and spoken, other languages are an advantage.
* You have good presentations, communication and planning skills. Last, but not least, at Market Intelligence we all need a curious mind set!

You will develop a broad network with both headquarter functions as well as regional and in-market functions. There will be many opportunities for presentations and workshops where you will develop leadership and presentation skills. Possibilities to develop on more senior positions within the department.
