The ReadSoft Lab for Capture Solutions creates world-leading Document Capture software and services for the global market.
An important part of the Lab is the Consulting Services Team. This highly skilled group of professionals work with implementing ReadSoft's solutions at customer sites around the world and also distributing expertise to our local offices.
We are now looking for a business-minded leader with a solid experience of IT-consulting to lead our consulting team.
As Consulting Services Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the Consulting Services part of the Lab. You will make sure business objectives are met, manage ProjectPoint, and ensure that expertise from your team is distributed to the ReadSoft global organization.
You will be in charge of small team of consultants with the world as their workplace, making sure they have the resources they need to perform. You will be handling staff issues such as recruitment, staff development, department meetings, salary discussions etc.
You will also be involved in bigger customer projects to make sure they run according to plan and have the resources they need.
As Consulting Services Manager, you will be a part of the Lab's management team.
You have a tertiary degree and at least five years' experience of running IT projects. You are a good communicator and your English is excellent, in speech as well as in writing.
We are looking for a person with:
• A solid experience of Consulting Services
• Knowledge of commercial issues such as quotes, contracts, invoicing etc.
• A genuine interest in technology and general IT
• Experience of business development
• Good pedagogical and presentation skills
• Experience of Microsoft Office including MS Project
• Experience of Quality Assured Project Management methodology
If you also know your way around one or more of the following areas, that is to your advantage:
Staff management, sales, the ReadSoft product family, system development (preferably with VB), user system development tools, document processing, data capture, workflow, archive and/or document management systems.
On a more personal level, you are a customer-oriented and positive multi-juggler, with excellent leadership skills and a healthy amount of personal integrity. You are a social person, but you're not afraid to make tough decisions and you firmly believe in the importance of teamwork and meeting deadlines.
