hela Sverige We are now recruiting a scientist for a 6 month consultant assignment in the Stockholm area. Your role would be to work as bioinformatician in the pharmaceutical industry.
You will be part of a team jointly responsible for information management and information solutions to the company's research and development department.
In this role, your scientific understanding, preferentially within the in vivo field, is important as the work is performed in close collaboration with experimental scientists. You will be working very actively with the local integration of data from several different sources of information in different ways related to the in vivo data. You will also be responsible for connecting the metadata parameters correctly and that data is stored in an optimal way.
Skills and qualifications
We are looking for scientists with interdisciplinary skills within in vivo biology, IT and data management.
• A good understanding of biological systems, to feel comfortable with medical terminology and have an understanding of the various stages of drug development.
• Experience of work with animal models is an advantage.
• Fluency in Microsoft Excel with some experience of VBA for Excel.
• Proven professional experience of basic computational technologies including scripting (e.g. Perl, Python)
• Excellent social, communication and collaborative skills
• Analytical, accurate and problem solving attitude
