Technology - IT Operations
Location - Sweden
Job Responsibilities:
• Data Center operation support
• Troubleshooting Network Related Problems
• Monitoring the MPLS Link
• Configuration of new devices & cabling
• Activity of Tape Library and Data tapes (optional)
• Taken daily, weekly and monthly backups as per backup Team instructions
• Hands on experience on Media tapes and movements (Optional)
• Health Check of DC Devices including Cooling, UPS systems
• Maintaining and upgrading the servers and the hardware parts
• Create Inward and Outward Gatepas as per mail
• Maintaining customer asset inventory and rack details.
• Troubleshooting of Physical connectivity and configuration issues.
• Performing various onsite activity with technical L2 team coordination.
• Working on DC onsite hardware device part replacement
• Mount Device on Proper Rack 'U' as per instructions
• Maintain Asset In/Out Inventory
• Escort visitor (Engineer) in data center and to the desired customer rack.
• Co-ordination with ISP Vendor, Customer for link Implementation &
Troubleshooting.
• Maintaining Asset Management Database for various devices
• Good Knowledge on Alphabet, ServiceNow
• Reviewing Asset list and maintaining Asset Configuration Items in the Asset
Management Tool
• Coordinate with Vendor for HDD Degaussing
• Coordinate with Vendor For Scrap And Movement Asset Process as per Client
Requirements
• Ensure asset management standards and procedures are being followed
• Ensure assets are uniquely identified with naming Asset TAG with Serial Number
• Inventory Control & Documentation as per Client requirements
• Data Center Cabling
