We are searching for you who has at least 5 years of experience with software development and infrastructure as well as experience with large releases in a fast-paced environment. You have great focus on structure and details, the ability to complete tasks on time and is highly skilled when communicating clearly amongst co-workers.
From an educational point of view we believe you have a University degree in Information Management, Computer Science (or similar).
Furthermore you have knowledge of:
software configuration management in complex IT platforms (extensive knowledge)
Microsoft Dynamics (FO, CE and ISVs) deployed in Azure
managing the release process in complex IT platforms (extensive knowledge)
rapid and flexible software development under which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
The Configuration & Release Leader will focus on leading and managing the Configuration and Release Management work in our Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM platform, with an end-to-end perspective.
You will:
create, manage and follow up the Configuration Management Plan as well as adapt and approve the Configuration Management working routines in order to improve daily work
establish, implement and manage the Configuration Control, Change Tracking and traceability between changes and Configuration Items identify Configuration Items and baselines, and ensure baseline approval through Physical-, and Functional Configuration Audits
lead and manage the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, managing, and communicating releases, ensuring alignment with the business and vendors, as well as continually work towards making improvements in the release process
measure and monitor progress to ensure product releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations, as well as manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
co-ordinate release content and effort based on platform backlog, pending service requests or system updates, as well as communicate plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
lead and co-ordinate Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists
maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
In this role you will report to the Platform Area Manager, Ingka Centres, and the position is placed in Malmö, Sweden.
