JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY :
In this role, you will drive a maintenance optimization project for the X61 train fleet in Skåne. Your main responsibility will be to propose, follow through, and implement changes impacting trains configuration and maintenance activities. You will contribute to continuous improvement specifically in the areas of availability, reliability and improved maintenance frequencies. You will have to work transversally within ALSTOM departments and will be in close contact with customers and suppliers. Your main challenge will be to push forwards optimizations without deviating from internal processes.
You will report hierarchically and operationally to the local Engineering Manager and the position is placed in our office in Raus near Helsingborg.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:
Lead the X61 maintenance optimization program
Ensure compliancy to the change & configuration management process
Propose and lead improvement action in relation with trains components and maintenance operations
Collect, analyze, and present data to motivate improvement actions
Plan, organize and attend the CCB meetings
Work closely with vendors to improve part and component s operation
Develop a partnership type of relation with our customers
Work proactively to foresee problems upstream in our working process
Create a natural communication with others maintenance projects/Platforms to secure Return of Experience (REX)applicability
Perform risk analyses
PROFILE :
Master or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant work experience.
Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory. German and/or French is a plus.
Experience within the railway or maintenance is a plus.
As a person you are independent and can set your own goals and deadlines. You are rigorous and attentive to details. You are also synthetic in your presentation and can communicate at all levels of the hierarchy.
The position is a temporary position of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
