We participate in Volvo IT Global Application Delivery's projects. We are taking an active part in the method development deliveries with several resources participating in ADT's service deliveries in the test & SCM area (e.g. coaching and training).
Job description:
As Software Configuration Manager you have a clear understanding of how to handle project and run time needs of Software Configuration and Change Management.
As consultant in the Configuration Management group you will be working with different software configuration efforts, such as software configuration planning, change management, version control, introducing SCM processes and tools, software build and deployment management. Within software configuration you can either work as technical build master or as SCM process and method specialist. As build master you will focus on the build and deployment activities of the Configuration Management effort and you will be a very important player in the development team. As process and method specialist you will support projects and runtime organizations implementing SCM process and tools in order to secure successful project and maintenance deliveries.

Qualifications:
We are now looking for you that are skilled in the software configuration area.
Senior:
Experienced in system development
Experience in using and managing tools within SCM (Clearcase/ClearQuest, Jira, Subversion, Git, TFS)
Experience in scriptning VB / Perl
Deep knowledge within the SCM area methods and processes
Also you need to have a minimum of five years of documented experience of IT software development with focus on Configuration Management.
Junior:
3 years of experience of system development
Experience of scripting VB / Perl
Interest in Software Configuration Management and version handling tools and software build tools
For this position you need to have general knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process and you also need to have leadership skills. If you have experience in agile project or experience from consultancy work is this an advantage. If you prefer to work with the more technical aspects of software configuration strong skills and interest in programming is required.
The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player. You have to have the ability establish and maintain good relations and also have the ability to work in global, multi-cultural organization. You are proactive and have a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve your knowledge. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
