For our customer we are looking for a Configuration Manager/Data Manager - FOR EMPLOYMENT
As Data/Configuration Manager you will work with the QC department and Developers in the local studio as well as their partner, supporting users and making sure the project follows our guidelines for data and our versioning system (SCM), Perforce.
This is a full time position that requires relocation to Malmö, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
• Follow and uphold SCM Best Practices
• Creating game packages & builds
• Optimizing the developer workflow
• Assisting QC with finding relevant data and builds
• Coordinating data retention and backup systems with IT
• Being proactive in finding future issues and planning for them
• Keeping the build farm running smoothly, making sure they don't go over their capacity constraints
• Submission of our solutions to 3rd parties
You as a candidate:
We are looking for someone that is very service minded and has several years of experience in support roles. You are very flexible and have a proactive problem-solving approach, as well as outstanding communication skills. You should be autonomous and good at taking initiatives.
Required skills and experience:
• Understanding of Windows Active Directory
• Understanding of Versioning Systems
• Experience and understanding of IT Systems, Storage, Networking
• An interest in safekeeping and organizing data
• Analytical mind eager to solve problems
• Programming skills, Python is a big plus
• PowerShell experience/knowledge is an asset
• Build System experience, especially Jenkins is a plus
• Experience and interest in designing unit tests is a plus
