hela Sverige TAT The Astonishing Tribe, part of Research In Motion, is creating user interfaces for BlackBerry mobile phones and tablets.
The Cascades team is responsible for developing the UI Framework enabling application developers creating astonishing
applications for the next generation BlackBerry products. We are now looking for a highly motivated Configuration Manager
that together with a small integration team secures a flawless daily integration.
Responsibilities
In this position you will be working with
• Development and maintenance of build and continuous integration systems
• Status communication and problems solving together with the management team
• Manual and automatic code promotion
• Team task coordination as scrum master for the integration team
Skills & Qualifications
• Passion for project and configuration management
• Extensive knowledge in configuration management tools, such as GIT, Subversion and Perforce
• Experience working with continuous tools such as Jenkins and Electric Commander
• Proficient in practicing agile development methodologies such as Scrum
• Knowledge about designs, scripting, tests, debugging and documents deployment procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in leadership and initial team leading skills
• Experience from medium to large R&D projects
• Ability to effectively control and provide high quality, especially under high pressure and high pace project circumstances
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills coupled with problem tracking and being a driver of problem resolution
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Software Developer, preferably with C/C++ for mobile phones
• cmake, gnumake, gcc, bash and HW optimization flags
• Multiple development environments (Linux, Windows and Mac)
• Minimum a couple of years of configuration management experience
• Good command of written and spoken English
Additional Assets
• Test Driven development (e.g. Acceptance Test Driven, test first and unit test driven development)
• Wiki and issue tracking system experience
• Willingness to work outside of business hours due to the different time zones
• Knowledge in delivery and release planning
• International working experience
• Distributed development (multi-site development) experience
We are not only looking for an exceptional Configuration Manager from a technical standpoint. The perfect candidate will also be able to handle the daily communication with the management team and coordination of the integration teams tasks.
