Job description
PDU Microwave Networks is part of DU IP & Broadband within BNET, headoffice is placed in Mölndal/Gothenburg with sites in Milan, Budapest and Beijing. The PDU MWN pushes innovation and leads the product development in the area of Microwave transmission with high volume products such as MINI-LINK as well known trade marks. Ericsson is world leader in the Microwave Transmission area and we intend to stay there and improve our position further.
The Configuration Manager has the role to lead the configuration work during the development projects and the product's life cycle. This includes identification, version handling and structuring of products and documents.
The CM department at PDU MWN support all projects and products within the PDU and consist of a team of experienced Configuration Managers. We are now looking into strengthen our team with a newly graduate.
Main Tasks will be:
Plan Configuration Management (CM) in the projects
Implement and apply CM in the projects
Identification of products and documents handled within the project/product activities
Structuring of functional and realization products
Create and communicate documents as Project CM plan, product structures, document plans
Identify the need for and maintain Base Lines
Support colleagues in CM tools (Product Data Management tools, Trouble Report and Change Request handling tools)
Follow up product status for HW and SW before release and deliveries
Your qualifications
You have University degree corresponding to bachelor degree
You have leadership capability and you can make things happen
You are structured in your line of work, have high faith in orderliness and planning and you are service minded
You have some knowledge of project management
You are able to work both independently and in group
You are generous with your knowledge and happy to help others.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
