hela Sverige UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.
For our customer we are looking for a Configuration Manager. You be part of team at an international Telecom company.
The main task will be to setup platform software configurations and handle deliveries of software from Graphics teams to be integrated into a SW platform. Various graphics technologies such as Window System, Graphics Effects, SVG, Adobe/Macromedia Flash, Java 3D, Imaging Framework, Image Processing Engine
and similar are key components in the SW and basis for application and UI development.
The position includes following responsibilities:
# Handle configuration and manage the version of graphics services
# Integrate deliveries from teams and update the status
# Build software, perform a smoke test, make a freeze of the software and do the delivery for testing and product/project configuration manager
# Plan delivery deadlines, by communicating with Function Group Leaders, Testing Leaders and Team Leaders
# Provide guidelines to developers about branching strategies and help them to setup build environments
Required skills:
You feel familiar with the responsibilities above and are certain that you will be able to deliver in time.
You should have a Master of Science degree or equivalent. Prior work experience with mobile devices as a developer and configuration management systems is considered as very positive.
You are a skilled communicator and can provide information to others at various levels.
As an individual you need to be very focused and energetic. You feel confident in both
speaking and writing in English as we work in an international environment.
