Alstom the global leader in smart and sustainable mobility is looking for an Configuration Manager to be based in Hässleholm
What will you do?
As a Configuration Management Manager, you will help our development project transforming the Configuration Management role to support modern ways of working. We are developing systems with high safety classification and depend on high traceability and configuration control through the hole product lifecycle. You as a Configuration Manager will therefore have one of our key roles and will be a part of the project core team.
Your key responsibilities?
Continuous improvement of the CM procedures to support development in an optimal way.
Ensure that the infrastructure in terms of tools and environments is well suited for the running projects.
Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure that the product structure is optimal for the products.
Collaborate with IT service and tools experts to obtain good IT infrastructure for our ways of working
Train and coach development teams in CM knowledge to make them able to work in a CM-savvy way.
Assist the whole organization with your expert knowledge in CM matters.
Organize and lead change control boards (CCB) meetings.
Ensure that releases are handled properly with full traceability to all essential assets and activities.
Support the organization with automated and continuously updated status accounting
Who are you?
University degree in Engineering.
Understanding of Configuration and Change Management to perform versioning control and change management over the product/project life cycle.
Understanding of change control boards (CCBs).
Knowledge of CM-related tools
Excellent Communication, leadership, and flexibility skills
Positive attitude towards new challenges.
English at a fluent level, Swedish will be considered a plus.
