Purpose of this job is to act as conceptual designer for existing and new clients, both towards the client and internally at M2 Retail Solutions. The conceptual designer will develop new store concepts or revise existing concepts and reports to Head of Design, Europe.
The role
Brainstorm ideas and sketch new designs or design upgrades, together in the design team.
• Build 3D models and create high quality 3D visualizations
• Prepare presentation materials for clients
• Present the Retail design layout, along with material and color samples to the client.
• Make sure that the design work will be delivered within the agreed time schedule and budget.
• Delivery of design ideas to the Technical design team and the Constructions department.
• Stay updated about design trends, materials, colors and light
• Stay updated regarding new ways of working within Retail
Who should apply?
We are looking for someone, who can make a real impact in this role and who possess a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the latest trends and news. To succeed you need to have an open mind, be able to work independently and manage to handle more than one project at a time.
You have good social skills and an ability to understand the customer needs.
We believe you have a university degree in design and/or architecture and several years of experience from retail design development.
Competencies:
• Experienced user in 3d modeling, preferred Skilled in ArchiCAD and/or Cinema - alternatively in AutoCAD or 3DS Max
• Skilled user of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Skilled user of the Microsoft package.
• Knowledge from Retail store design, and how end consumers are shopping.
• Able to create professional store designs
• Create photorealistic 3D visualizations
• Understanding of good design, details and trends
• Technical understanding
• Appropriate communication skills
• English, fluent in both written and oral

The offer is a full time position at M2 Retail Solutions in Rydöbruk outside Halmstad. Possibility to work 2-3 days in Copenhagen can be discussed.
