Concept Workshop and Event technician
This role sits in the Concept Workshop department and you will play a crucial role in making sure we always have the right car, prepared top notch e.g. for marketing events, journalist drives, car shows etc. across Europe. You will be "the car whisperer" making sure the car is at its very best at all times.
This position is located in Gothenburg and reports to the Head Of Concept Workshop.
What you'll do
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cars are fully functional at events, film/photo shoots and other exciting occasions. You will support all Lynk & Co activities around car specific work, based in the concept workshop in Gothenburg and at events globally. The successful applicant will also work closely with other teams, supporting the internal fleet of cars.
What you should have
• General mechanical skills in (active) chassis components & body parts
• Knowledge of Diagnostic and other communication standards
• Experience with electrical systems and knowledge of electrical safety standards
• Skills in hydraulics and pneumatic system
• Able to create new installations and repair wiring harness
• Routined skills with SRS components
• Excellent English, written and spoken
• Drivers license is a must
• High Voltage trained is a plus
In our dynamic environment you need to be independent and self driven, able to work with the minimum of supervision, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment.
High attention to details is of very high importance in this role.
Willingness and desire to travel, also on short notice. Flexible in your approach to work and prepared to go the extra mile as a problem solver with a high level of commitment.
