Are you an experienced Concept Engineer with knowledge in sales who want to be a part of a growing company in an international environment? Then this challenge is for you!
Main activities and responsibilities
Involve extensive cooperation with the Sales Team to satisfy customer requirements
Be instrumental in creating new and intriguing proposals that highlight the benefits of both FlexLink systems and third-party solutions
Evaluate whether specific client requirements can be applied to the adequate technical solutions or declined for technical reasons
Support Sales Engineers with customer calls for quotations of complex systems
Collate technical information and further details for quotations where necessary
Execute technical proposals through system engineering, cost estimating, and necessary components/modules
Provide technical support to other departments for segment/product lines
Collaborate with the projects team to resolve any issues
Develop the market and the sales of new product lines/segments
Act as the local interface with central functions of the company
Request quotations from external suppliers in cooperation with the Purchasing department
Be updating of CRM system and internal files on a regular basis
This is you
You are determined and not afraid to give suggestions for improvements. You have experience from an engineering function and knowledge about the sales process. You are proficient of material handling concepts across multiple industries
Required skills
Good knowledge from working with CAD.
Ability to evaluate needs, propose solutions and design according to customer needs.
At least general understanding of what a WMS does and its role in warehouse automation.
Machinery and material handling basics, including knowledge of system controls to be able to write functional specifications.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Organized and able to work to deadlines
Team-working
Problem-solving
Ability to work with figures and data regarding complex material flows.
Flexibility and change mind-set
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge and experience of having worked with intralogistics flows and warehouse automation are meritorious.
