Concept Design Engineer
We are now looking for a Concept Design Engineer Closures within Body & Exterior - Closures.
As Concept Design Engineer you will be responsible for all concept development of the door, tailgate and hood on our future vehicle program for the new car brand Lync & Co.
The work principle within the Closure team is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
- By using Catia, support the System Managers in setting up the system (doors, tailgate, hood)
- Support styling and vehicle integration team to deliver technical input
- Package the main components of the system to support the style development
- Cooperation with Lync & Co Research Institute engineers in China
Requirements
- At least 10 years' experience of automotive design / development
- High level skills in Catia V5 and TeamCenter
- Experience from feasibility studies and system set-up in early phases
- Experience from master section and styling integration
- Deep complete vehicle knowledge, body & exterior
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Master of Science in Engineering, or the equivalent experience
