Concept Design Engineer & Coordinator Exterior
CEVT is looking for a Design Engineers who want to develop themselves in a more challenging role. CEVT can offer you a slim and agile organization where your ideas can grow.
The Exterior Module Team is responsible for developing exterior system splitted into four areas: Lighting, Cleaning, Bumpers & Claddings and exterior Trim (including Glass and Mirrors). The Exterior Module Team at CEVT will have the main focus to develop projects intents and then using external resources to handle project industrialization (local resources in china, suppliers and/or other external partners). The Module Team has the technical responsibility through the projects so will follow and secure the development up to final product.
To achieve the Module Team deliveries the team will need a person to support our System Managers and Engineers with CAD concept analysis. The area will have more than one concept engineer focusing on different areas, this post though also include the task to coordination concept work assigned to our sister company Geely in their China office.
Job Description
Support the Exterior System Managers and Engineers with concept CAD studies
Perform Benchmark studies
Secure packaging feasibility within given frames in accordance with the vehicle packaging engineers
Coordinate activities with the China office
Develop more efficient design methods and tools
Requirements
Minimum B.Sc. eng.
Minimum basics in CATIA V5
Minimum basics in Teamcenter
Experience from working within an English spoken company
Motivation and will to achieve the extra
Ability to take own initiative and to question the truth to find alternative solutions
Ability to work in cross functional teams and drive co-workers to achieve common goals
Prepared to learn with a will to grow with the organization
Fluent in Mandarin and English
