Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Your experience in Concept Design within Propulsion Systems would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction.

This position will be based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
Our System Design Team is a part of the Polestar Propulsion Department, with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers' expectations. The team consists of system engineers, CAE engineers and system designers. Your responsibilities will be:
• Conceptual packaging and integration of the propulsion system in vehicle
• Participate in the conceptual development of propulsion system for the future
• Support the subsystems with their development and integration in upcoming projects
• Evaluate and integrate design changes
• Support the projects in the day-to-day work with data driven analysis for component/subsystem impact on complete vehicle.

Who you are
You have a strong will to create the future of electric vehicles - it's probably fair to call you an EV nerd passionate about solving climate changes. You are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized and driven. You're not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You are a fast learner and are not afraid of addressing tough challenges.
You are an experienced CAD engineer who is motivated by challenges and cooperate with others to reach common goals. You are communicative and collaborative with good motivational and planning skills. You are structured, methodical and analytical, as well as patient, flexible and pleasant.
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:
• Relevant technical education and background
• Previous automotive experience
• Excellent knowledge in CATIA V5
• Previous experience of Teamcenter Engineering is beneficial
