hela Sverige Avalanche Studios Group and its division Avalanche Studios are crafting a cutting-edge AAA open-world fantasy game. We are dedicated to developing ambitious, externally-published AAA games and are seeking talented Concept Artists to join our team in Liverpool or Stockholm.
The Position
We are looking for a Concept Artist to bring our upcoming AAA fantasy game to life by creating visually stunning, stylized characters, creatures and/or environments for our open world. The Concept Artist will work closely with the Art Director and other leads to establish the visual style of the game, and will collaborate with other teams to deliver necessary concept designs.
Key Responsibilities
• Design visually stunning, stylized characters, creatures and/or environments for an upcoming AAA stylized fantasy game
• Work closely with the Art Director and other leads
Required Qualifications
• Strong understanding of stylized character design, mythical creature anatomy, and/or open-world environment design
• Strong knowledge of sketching, designing and illustration
• Good skills in digital painting tools such as Photoshop or Procreate
• A portfolio demonstrating good attention to detail and ability to bring characters, creatures and/or environments to life with your art
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
Desired Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Concept Art for AAA video games
• Passion for creating high-quality, stylized fantasy worlds
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Blender
