We are now recruiting a computational chemist/biologist for a one year assignment at Astrazeneca, Mölndal. This position offer the opportunity to use your expertise in computational chemistry or biology in the process of drug discovery in an international environment. The project focus on informatics based analysis of the AZ compound collection. Starting date is as soon as possible.
We are looking candidates with a PhD in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, cheminformatics or related subjects. Experience of programming (script), work flow tools and analysis of large data sets is advantageous.
It is essential to have good social and communication skills and to be a strong team player. Candidates should be able to work independently, take own initiatives and have a positive, goal oriented and problem solving attitude. Good organisational skills are required and you should be comfortable in presenting your results. Excellent english is required, both spoken and in writing.
