ST Aerospace Solutions is a corporation owned 72 % by Singapore Technologies Engineering and 28 % by SAS Technical Services. We operate in Stockholm/Arlanda, Copenhagen/Kastrup and Oslo/Gardemoen. We are approx. 850 employees in Scandinavia and ST Aerospace has nearly 6000 employees worldwide.
• Our deliveries of aircraft components are mainly to the aircraft industry, worldwide, of which SAS is the largest customer. We handle all the elements - from pick up of aircraft components to delivery of new or maintained components to the aircraft. Our logistic activity includes pur-chase, transportation, workshop production and storage of components.

The product group "Aerostructures" consists of 60 persons who are responsible for the Over-haul, Repair, and Modification of Aircraft Structural Components. All Maintenance repair and overhaul activities are primarily performed in a workshop environment.
The Primary areas of focus within Aerostructures are: Nacelles- Thrust Reversers, Engine inlets, Fan Cowls, Exhaust Nozzles. The Product portfolio also includes Flight controls-Ailerons, Flaps, Slats, Elevators, Rudders, Doors-Entry, Cargo, Fairings, Radomes etc. Relevant ATA chapters are 27,51-57,71 and 78.
Product Team Structure presently comprises of the following areas of responsibility.
Composite shop, sheet metal shop, machine shop wheel shop, paint shop and component cleaning shop.
Main Tasks:
• Perform repair to Aircraft Composite and advanced Composite Structures, monolithic and sandwich type Structural details. Typical materials are Glass fibre reinforced plas-tics, Carbon fibre reinforced plastics, Composite Hybrids, Aramid, Metal Honeycomb sandwich type constructions etc.
Repair Process involves damage removal, moisture/contamination removal, -surface treatment
For aluminium alloy metal bonding repairs-Phosphor acid Anodizing-tank, non-tank and containment system method, Alodine, Boegel and other surface treatment as applica-ble, -repair
lay up- wet lay up and pre-impregnated type repairs, core removal/replacement, vacuum
bagging, room temperature and hot bonded repairs, heat blanket, oven and auto-clave curing.
• Requisitioning of raw material and spare parts.
Background:
• Technical / Trades/Crafts/ mechanical education.
• Work experience with composite material-Preferably within the Aviation Industry. Ex-perience from Automotive industry, boat industry, Leisure industry (Manufacture of Surfboards, golf clubs, tennis rackets etc) is also considered a merit.
• Basic computer skills
We expect the candidate:
• To have the ability to read, understand and interpret applicable Maintenance data, structural repair manuals, Component Maintenance manuals, Assembly Drawings, work-sheets, Service Bulletins, Service letters, Authority Directives etc.

The job is placed at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, Sweden
Relevant trade union agreements apply. Work is performed on day shift.
