At the moment we are looking for a Component Test Engineer to join our Core Technologies Imaging team within our Research & Development department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Core Technologies Imaging team is responsible for evaluating new sensors and new optics for future cameras. As a component test engineerin the team you will be performing measurements of the performance of new sensor prototypes and new optic components from our component suppliers. The work is done in collaboration with our expert engineers within optics and sensors.
The role also includes external contacts with sensor and optics suppliers to get prototypes and evaluation board up and running as well as participation in supplier visits where sensor and optics roadmaps are discussed.
Our test methodology is constantly improved and you will take part in the development
and introduction of new test methods for sensors and optics.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you are a quality aware and self-motivated person and have a technical degree in engineering or computer science. You will be working in a team of experienced engineers developing the foundation for Axis future products.
Previous experience from test development and knowledge in scripting languages (perl, ruby, etc.) is meriting.
Your English is fluent, both written and verbal.
THE TEAM
The Core Technologies Imaging team is a team of 20-25 engineers and we are responsible for development of imaging processing algorithms as well as integration of optics systems and sensor technology for Axis products. We deliver technology platforms on which the product development organization builds cameras. The team is also a competence center for the R&D organization in areas of image processing, sensor technology and optics.
