What do we offer?

We are looking for a Component Responsible who wants to join us in making the best propulsion solutions for the future. The group's responsibility is to develop the high-pressure fuel and Ignition system for all internal combustion engines. The team is responsible for defining system and component specification and for developing and securing verification of the complete systems. We work in cross-functional system teams within propulsion power systems including manufacturing, purchasing and our suppliers. This offers a great opportunity for you to develop new relations. You will work in an environment that is prestige less in order to focus on what 's best for the team deliveries

Our team is a part of the Dressed Engine ART. We are in progress of defining our agile organisation and you will have a great chance to make an impact.

What you 'll do:

As Component Responsible you will be working in projects from concept phase up until production start and aftermarket. You will coordinate and lead the work within your responsibility area, to reach the objectives and secure the deliveries within the given technical requirements, time and budget. Close contact with other areas within VCC Research & Development, purchase, manufacturing and suppliers are necessary. You will report to the system responsible, project leaders and group manager.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Application and development of FIE & Ignition system components in close cooperation with the supplier
* Develop components and technical solutions according to technical, quality, time and cost requirements
* Create and release technical documentation. (requirements, drawings /3D-models etc.)
* Plan and follow up status of component development and verifications testing, internal and external
* Initiate and assure corrective actions when deviations occurs
* Communicate the status and forecast
* Take part in developing and improving our way of working and methods

Technical interest and with a broad knowledge within automotive development is important for you to succeed. Experience from combustion engines or electrical components is meritorious. You have a degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent. It is beneficial if you have experience from working in agile environment. We are looking for a personality that will bring in new ideas, thinking and competence in our team in order for us to be well prepared for the future!
