Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems Diesel develop and verify emission aftertreatment systems to meet new environmental legal demands, balanced with other engine attributes such as fuel consumption, performance and noise/vibrations.
We are also responsible for development of concepts in early advanced engineering phases.
Our challenge is to develop fuel efficient engines together with upcoming stringent legal requirements regarding nitrous oxides, carbon monoxides, hydrocarbons and particulates.
This require development work to find out the best technical solutions that meets legal requirements which is balanced with cost and engine attributes.
We are now looking for an Component Design Engineer who wants to contribute to a clean environment by leading development of the future emission systems.
Main responsiblities:
• Define component requirements based on system requirements.
• Set requirements and limitations for the engine calibration teams.
• Documentation of internal / external requirement specifications.
• Development towards being a key person within the group for development work performed by suppliers.
• Develop test methods together with the team to verify the function and durability of the coated substrates.
Required qualifications:
• B.Sc. within chemical engineering.
• Leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of engine technology and of its interaction with other areas.
• Experience within Exhaust aftertreatment system development / purchasing is appreciated.
Personal profile:
• Good ability to work in teams.
• Leadership qualities, communicative.
• Structured and analytical approach in solving development tasks.
• Self motivated and with own initiatives
