We focus on having satisfied employees, they are the heart and soul of our organization and we are currently looking for a Component Release Engineer for our customer within the automotive industry of large vehicles in Gothenburg.
Work description On-board Telematics (OBT) is a global department within our customer in Vehicle Engineering, established to secure connected vehicles. OBT has the ownership for the telematics HW components, such as Telematics Gateway (TGW), Telematics Extended Services Platform, Keyboard, Electronic Toll Collect. We are looking for a Global Component Release Engineer to ensure that the developed SW is released in a well-managed and consistent way. The tasks include performing releases in the administrative systems, coordinating releases between Backoffice and on-board systems, ensuring that the releases are made according to OBT global strategies and performing integration tests before release.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for release process and admin globally, i.e. Common way of working, tools, common content and format of deliveries, documentation and storage, templates, etc.
• Perform the releases
• Manage parameter requests and Diagnostic codes
• support markets and technical service with quality issues
Skills Required:
• General technical competence and at least some years of experience.
• Administrative skills and a thorough mindset.
• Expereince from CM tools
• Experience from complex tool chains- Experience from prodcut development, esp. Automotive
• Experience in HW, SW development
• Good communication in English
