Interior Trim within Interior department consists of approximately 100 engineers organized into six groups developing components within the following areas: Trunk trim, Door trim, Pillar trim, Interior Light, Headliner system, Floor carpets and sound absorbents.
We are now looking for an experienced project leader to strengthen the team in the group Floor carpets and NVH parts.
As project leader within Floor carpets and NVH parts, you are responsible for all deliverables connected to implementing the concerned system solutions into our new car models. We develop system solutions together with our suppliers and also by in house design engineering.
Interior is a highly focused area both from styling and customer point of view, which makes it an interesting and dynamic department to be a part of.
Main responsibilities
Lead a cross functional team in engineering projects and ensure delivery with regards to time, technology and cost requirements
Perform design reviews
Ensure that verification activities are planned and performed according to the overall time plan
Ensure production launch
Work in close cooperation with the suppliers and manage the contacts with regards to planning and monitoring
Ensure commonality between projects
Ensure that a correct part structure is created and that the technical documentation is reviewed and released
Required qualifications
University degree in Mechanical engineering
Long experience from project management
Excellent English skills, verbal and written
Driver's license
Meritorious experience
Experience/understanding of design work in Catia and other systems that manage drawings and 3-D models
Experience from automotive
Personal qualities
Strong project management skills, ability to drive tasks towards goals and deliver on time
Organised, structured and able to handle many tasks simultaneously and to take decisions
Eager to work in a group and to cooperate with other people
Self starter and highly motivated to take up challenging tasks
Customer oriented
