As the Project Leader you will be part of a team that develop the parts we own within our department and for this role within Wiper, Washer & Sensorcleaning System. You will work in all phases from start until launch phase including customer quality validation. You are a inspiring and motivating leader - great to drive your own tasks and supporting cross functional teams to get things done according to timeplans. You will gain a wide network across the different Arts in the agile organisation at Volvo Cars.
What you'll do
• Establish the technical solution and align with stakeholders.
• Secure the final product through quality assuring actions such as FMEA, Design Reviews and test planning.
• Secure that design prerequisites are developed in time and fulfilled during component sourcing.
• Follow up budget for the component development.
• Be the technical contact for all issues related to the component.
• Lead the technical team consisting of the supplier and the internal Volvo Cars team members.
What you'll bring
We think you have an M.Sc or B.Sc in mechatronics, electronics or physics as well as work experience as a engineer within SW development. We would like that you have experience in SW system design and SW requirements. Experience within automotive development is meritorious and experience from software or hardware design for automotive.
• Previous experience from leading sourcing activity including ESOW prep.
• You have scrum/Agile knowledge.
• Node owner competence related to ECU with electronic and software.
• You are fluent in Swedish & English (written and spoken).
• Structured with good documentation and communication skills
