hela Sverige You will be part of Control Technologies in Västerås. Control Technologies is a unit within ABB?s division Process Automation. The unit is responsible for development, marketing and sales of automation products, both hardware and software, as well as for monitoring, control and optimization. The unit has automation products for all types of industries. The concept Industrial IT gives unique opportunities to synchronize data from the manufacturing process with additional information systems within the company and make the information available in real-time.
Tasks
Do you have a genuine interest in electronics and a desire to make our products more cost-efficient? Control Technologies is not a producing unit, however, we are actively involved in material sourcing on behalf of our subcontractors. Your task will be to find alternative solutions and more cost-efficient components to our circuit boards and modules, without compromising on quality. Together with internal teams and various suppliers, you will work proactively to ensure highest quality to best price.
Requirements
You have a Bachelor in Engineering with specialization in Electronics or equivalent work experience. It is highly qualifying with a few years? experience from a similar position. A background within design of electronics is preferable. With a genuine interest in electronics and components, you strive to make them better and more cost-efficient. In addition, computer proficiency including knowledge in Excel is crucial to your success. You are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike. As you will source new opportunities, an open mind and a high level of initiative are vital qualities. You should also have strong social skills and the ability to implement new ideas in the organization.
