The Heavy Duty diesel future will be very interesting but also a demanding challenge. There is a need to take big steps in reducing CO2 (reduced fuel consumption) and comply with the even more restricted emission legislation. Further work with alternative fuels solutions will also be a part of this work. Tasks
In this position you will be supporting the Fuel Injection Team with the development of the fuel lines related to the Powertrain platform.
You will be, together with the Component Responsible, part of a cross-functional team involving Purchasing, After Market, Manufacturing and Suppliers.
As Component Engineer you will participate in different phases of the Product Development form the earlier development stages to the Start of Production and continuing to the product maintenance phase.
Qualifications
Master of Science or similar technical education is preferred
Education or experience of engine and Fuel Injection system is a must
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Strong communications skills and ability to lead small teams
Volvo GTT experience is a plus
