Position description:
SPL support - combined role as GDL (Group Design Leader) and Test Engineer
Combined role:
Support to SPL (System program Leader ) as Design leader and later in the project perform tests as Test engineering.
Task description:
To support System Program Leader (SPL) during prototype and small scale build of traction batteries.
This by i. e. preparing work instructions, perform risk analyses and define and perform End of Line Testing as well as performing tests on built batteries.
Main responsibilities:
You will lead a cross functional team in engineering projects for mechanical HW and ensure delivery with regards to time, technology and cost requirements of the task area within a vehicle program.
• Ensure that the technical documentation (TCE, KDP) is available at the right level and at the right time
• Contact with CAE, other R&D members, suppliers and manufacturing to agree of required action
• Follow up prototype car builds and manufacturing of prototypes
• Manage supplier contacts with regards to planning and monitoring
• Initiate, prepare, perform tests, analyse results and write reports for validation
• Perform initial investigations of root cause to up-coming issues
Required qualifications:
• Previous experience as task leader at Volvo Cars
• Documented experience from project administration and documentation
• Background as software test engineer requested, preferably also experience from hardware testing.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Driver 's license B
