Component Designer, Software
At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers over the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As COMPONENT DESIGNER, SOFTWARE within the group Centerstack Electronics, you will take part in the development of components and software within the climate area. You will work in close cooperation with both internal function- and system developers, as well as the supplier in order to create the application software. This position implicates the great opportunity to establish and maintain a great international network.
Job profile:
• Develop components and software that live up to technical-, cost- and time requirements
• Responsible for planning and conducting the implementation of the components and software towards internal/external component suppliers
• Assuring the verification of components, performed by the component test leader and component supplier
Your profile:
• Holistic view with well developed organisational skills
• High integrity and great communication skills
• Motivated and dedicated
• Experience from the automotive business is required
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish (spoken and written)
• University degree in engineering (Electronics, Software or equivalent)
