Tasks and responsibilities
As Compliance test engineer you will work crossfunctionally in supporting various projects and the compliance team.
Your focus areas are within the fields of electrical safety, EMC and radio.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Plan, set up and maintain our new test laboratory.
• Develop test methods and perform tests - both internally within Husqvarna and together with external accredited companies.
• Analyze test results, provide feedback and improvement proposals.
• Translate product and safety standards into verifiable test requirements.
Together with the Husqvarna compliance organization you will propose relevant standards and secure proper interpretation. You are up to date with standard publications and foresee coming changes.
Product development will require close cooperation with our electronics- and software engineers in order to design solutions that fulfil the relevant standards. Your competence and input will be key to a successful project execution.
Location: Jonsered.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience.
Experience working with electrical safety and EMC test procedures.
Good knowledge in circuit diagrams, electrical drawings and specifications.
Good knowledge in written and spoken English.

You also need good team working skills together with the ability to operate independently.
