Overview
The Global Compliance team at Essity, is looking for a Compliance Officer with high integrity and profound financial understanding that can drive the global Essity Compliance program.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a global environment, in a dynamic team setting and with varied challenges.
The Compliance Officer report to the Vice President for Compliance & Ethics and the location for this position is at our head office in Stockholm, Sweden.
The head office of Essity is located in the Waterfront Building in central Stockholm. The head office includes the executive management and group staff functions such as Finance, Strategy and Business Development, Legal, Sustainability, Human Resources and Communications. Some 130 specialists work in an international environment where business processes are promoted through the global networks in the 60 countries where Essity is represented.



Main Tasks
The Global compliance team is responsible for implementing, developing and monitoring the compliance program. The Compliance officer will assist with monitoring and report results of the global compliance program and initiatives across the organization.

Perform risk assessments
Monitoring and reporting results of the compliance program as well as to implement all necessary requirements to ensure compliance with applicable legislations for the compliance program
Support and advice Essity's management on Compliance-related matters
Support and create internal compliance communication, such as Essity Group intranet site and local newsletters and tailor compliance trainings
Conduct internal investigations with focus on financial aspects
Work constructively with compliance colleagues on all matters, including devising, implementing and maintaining policies & procedures
Actively engage with internal stakeholders such as Legal, HR, Finance and Group Internal Audit on cross functional activities

Key Competencies
Degree in Economics (or equivalent with relevant practice)
Minimum 5 years of working experience in an international enterprise in a Compliance-related function or Internal Audit Finance
Experience in public accounting with focus on forensic investigations
Profound financial and business understanding
Solid IT and system knowledge
Ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents
Fluent business English, second language is an asset
Flexibility to travel internationally.

To be successful in this role we see you as an individual with high integrity and objectivity. Furthermore, you have great communication skills both written, verbal and in interaction with others. You are very comfortable in communicating both complex and sensitive matters with all areas and levels in the organization. We also see you as an analytical person with the capability to analyze business facts and figures and draw valid conclusions based on that.
