Corporate Compliance is a head-office function being responsible for developing and managing the Compliance Programmes of the Volvo Group. We manage the efforts in relation to anti-corruption, competition law compliance, export control and data privacy matters. Corporate Compliance works in close cooperation with the legal function of the Volvo Group. The Volvo Group employs approximately 130 corporate and compliance counsels worldwide.
Corporate Compliance now seeks to recruit a lawyer to join our team. You will be expected to
• be a key contributor in building and developing the Volvo Group?s compliance framework,
• provide hands-on, commercial legal advice in the compliance area to the Volvo Group on a global basis,
• provide global compliance training to employees at all levels in the Volvo Group, and
• be involved in investigations related to compliance issues on a global basis.
In your role, you will work closely with the different legal teams in the Volvo Group as well as with a wide range of other functions and businesses in the Group.
Qualifications:
• You should have experience of advising on commercial legal issues as well as on anti-corruption or competition law. Experience of advising on data protection or export control would be an advantage,
• You need to have excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• You should have integrity, be business oriented and creative as well as have a demonstrated ability to cooperate and work in a team.
• You will be expected to provide support and training mainly in English, and you must therefore be proficient in the English language.
• As conducting global trainings will be an important part of your responsibilities, you need to have the possibility to travel on a frequent basis.
