We are searching for a temporary Competitive Intelligence Analyst (W/M) to Group Competitive Intelligence which is part of the Group Strategy and Business Development department at SCA. Competitive Intelligence is responsible for systematically collecting, analyzing and reporting external market conditions which could impact SCA’s business, providing insight and foresight and thereby supporting strategic decision making.
You will become a member of a dynamic team working in an international atmosphere, primarly supporting SCA’s management teams but also having a supporting role across business units and functions. You will have a broad variety of tasks and frequent contacts with colleagues internationally, why personal traits such as flexibility, networking capabilities and problem solving skills will be highly valued.
In the role as Competitive Intelligence Analyst you will temporarily strengthen our team in Stockholm during a parental leave. Being based in Gothenburg or Ismaning could be an option since the team of ten persons in total are present in these three locations. The assignement starts in the beginning of 2017 and lasts for about one year.
Main Tasks
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting information from internal and external sources, mainly in the fields of macro economy, raw materials, competitors and our main product areas
Participation/support in various projects
Key Competencies
Degree in business administration or related field
1-3 years of working experience e.g. within consultancy or an analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry
Knowledge in macroeconomics
Analytical skills and good statistical knowledge
Strong financial background
Ability to break down complex issues in an easily understandable way
Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
Excellent communication and presentation skills (in English and Swedish), verbally and in writing
Personal profile
Proactive with a holistic view
Results oriented self-starter
Curious to learn
Team player who acts with integrity
Professional but relaxed attitude
