Competitive Intelligence within Strategy department.
Role reports to the Competitive Intelligence Manager in London.
We are looking for an analytical, quick-learning individual with a curious mindset to join our growing Competitive Intelligence (CI) team. The position report to the Competitive Intelligence Manager in London.
The key objective for this role is to provide company stakeholders the ability to understand Kambi's competitive position - ranging from product competitiveness to its position on the competitive landscape.
Your insights and recommendations could help Kambi improving on its product performance and development, so we remain the supplier of choice on the market. And it could also help Kambi selling its product better, from providing great examples and evidence of product strengths. Ultimately, you will also play a key part in keeping our corporate strategy and decisions makers up to date, by rigorously monitoring and reporting on key developments in our industry, to researching key intelligence topics and questions.
To do this, the analyst will learn and execute on established methodologies and routines to deliver insights in a consistent manner. You will both work independently on tasks, and with / get support from other team members and departments. You must possess a good ability to focus and prioritize the most important tasks in the larger problem. Finally, you should ideally also feel comfortable in communicating your findings to local stakeholders in office, and virtually to decision makers across other Kambi offices.
Two main objectives of role:
1. Drive investigations to provide actionable competitive intelligence on sports betting products
1. Monitor developments and research key intelligence questions and topics within the competitive marketplace of sports betting industry, incl. companies, tech, regulations, financial results and more
Requirements
Skill
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Confidence in working with basic data analysis in Excel
• Presentation skills by use of Powerpoint
• Desirable: experience with other data analysis tools as Looker
Ability
• Working and planning independently without close supervision
• Stakeholder mgmt.
• Great relationship-builder
• Desirable: proven problem-solving and storytelling capabilities
Knowledge
• University degree related to research and business analysis (preferable)
• Interest in sports and sports betting industry
• Interest in technology and trends
• Desirables: Background in sports betting or other gambling forms as DFS preferred, or from fast-moving digital environments
