hela Sverige SAS IT & Digital is responsible for all IT within Scandinavian Airlines, has 140 employees and is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, just outside Stockholm. The organization is divided in 4 main departments and in the role you report to Head of Digital Transformation Office (DTO).
SAS is a digital leader within travel and has a long history of developing innovative solutions that revolutionize the airline industry. An important part to maintain this position is our Digital Transformation Office.
The DTO mission is to drive the overall IT & Digital development portfolio and support SAS to deliver business value in digital development with IT as a business enabler and technology innovator. Our goal is to secure quality in deliveries and to maintain high precision in planning, forecasting, follow-up and delivery.
To achieve this DTO has a competence center setup to maintain and share knowledge, principles and way-of -working within Project management / Development & Quality Assurance / Enterprise Architecture & Portfolio Governance.
To raise our game even further, we are now looking for a Competence Leader for Development & Quality Assurance to enhance our team and help us build the Development & QA competence center.
This is a key role to ensure quality and time to market for IT development deliveries and you will;
Be responsible for defining Dev & QA strategy, approach and way-of-working within the IT & Digital portfolio.
Create the competence center to provide guidance and technical expertise within the area.
Ensure that projects and development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and way-of-working of the Dev & QA strategy as defined.
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the portfolio managers within this area.
Oversee planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities and tasks e.g. guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.
Oversee proper estimates of the development & testing to be done and negotiate with portfolio management to acquire the necessary resources.
Experience and Background
Master's degree (or equivalent)
Experience in working at a strategic and operational level within digital development & testing.
Minimum 5 years of working experience within project, digital development, QA/test methodologies
Both with traditional methods as well as agile, hybrid or LEAN oriented ways of working
Very Good knowledge of agile methodology and scrum implementation model.
Preferably a certification in Leading SAFe
Preferably a certification within test and requirement management e.g. ISTQB or similar
Strong change management skills to drive the transformation within the area
Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure Dev& QA vision is understood and implemented correctly
Speak and write English and a Scandinavian language fluently

You like to develop and enhance the way of working and you communicate easily with stakeholders on all levels.

About our Office
Frösundavik is a great place to work. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. It's located in a green area of Solna and close to Hagaparken and Brunnsviken.
There's a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
