Scania Academy is now looking for a Competence Development Manager to our group Sales and Driver Training. This group is responsible for development and deliveries of training solutions within sales and driver related services. The main part of our activities are towards the global commercial network. Some activities also focus on central departments at the main office with responsibility within the commercial area.
The business targets that Scania has defined for the coming years imply large-scale changes in our way of managing business operations with our distributors, dealers and workshops. To enable increasing volumes while maintaining profitability we continuously introduce new business concepts. Our responsibility is to develop and implement training solutions that improve our way of working and support the business concepts.
Work tasks
As a Competence Development Manager your main responsibility is to deliver training solutions within driver training and driver solutions, services that Scania offers our customer in order to improve their profitability. You will work as project leader, responsible for planning, developing and delivering concepts of training solutions in close cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as your colleagues. Our target groups are within Scania global commercial network which means that international contacts are a natural part of the work.
Your profile
We are looking for a curious, communicative and structured person able to take lead in an organisation of change and development. You are a team player taking initiatives and most of all have a genuine interest for andragogy. Since we are working with customers within our global organisation you need to be able to speak and write English fluently and be able to travel. Either you have a relevant university degree or/and an interest for driver techniques as well as Scania products and services.
