This is a new role that together with 1 competence developer, 8 HR Business Partners and HR Manager makes the HR department that support the VCT (Volvo Cars Torslanda) organisation.

The purpose of this role is to secure the development of skills and competencies in VCT in line with the VCM (Volvo Cars Manufacturing) competence pillar and VCM Performance process and in line with overall company targets.

For this new role we are looking for an ambitious and well organized individual with high energy, extraordinary abilities to interact and communicate well and who knows how to drive competence development.

Responsibility:

The Competence Developer's responsibility is to co-operate with, coach, and inspire managers in competence development in order to support that VCT's targets for short and long terms can be met and superseded.

Main tasks:

To challenge the organization to accept new concepts, practices and approaches.
To operate in line with main corporate HR processes such as Performance process, learning needs analysis etc as well as VCMS competence pillar.
To support the organization to correspond to current and future competence needs.
To implement, coordinate, drive and manage competence or other projects.
To analyze and modify working methods.
Requirements:

A university degree within HR, educational- or behavioural science.
A proven ability to manage projects of various lengths and sizes.
Skills and engagement for competence developmental processes.
A good business acumen and understanding of the relation between competence development and demands in line with business models and company targets.
Well organized work methods.
Excellent abilities to initiate, maintain and develop relations.
Excellent communicational skills on all levels in Swedish and English.
