Compensation & Benefits is part of formulating the strategy to reach our corporate target of becoming Employer of Choice. We do this together with Talent Management specialists in our Corporate Center of Expertise (CoE). As specialists in the CoE we should be curious about development in all HR areas as well as being on top of the business challenges with a purpose to co-create solutions and support our global organization with expertise in their local needs.
A member of the Compensation & Benefits group at Volvo Cares will work closely with 6 other specialists ranging from Compensation issues to Pension, Benefits and insurance questions. We believe that development of both our products and each other are vital components to prepare for future challenges and therefore we believe we need to share our knowledge and opinions to be successful. The mission of the group is to support our strategy in creating global solutions and act as advisors to the business. We do this through our global network and regular business contacts. We are in a strong transition phase as a company in which leadership and management expectations are shifting. To strengthen our ability to support that direction we are strengthening or Reward and recognition team with a Compensation Specialist that will work closely with our Compensation experts with a focus on Sweden and Global variable pay components. As we are in transformation from a traditional hardware company to become a player on the Digital arena we are constantly looking for new ways to work with traditional topics. The chance that we will implement solutions un-heard of in our industry is apparent and being part of that is truly inspiring. You will get opportunities to collaborate closely with both financial specialist, People Management Specialist, Labor affairs as well as business representatives creating an understanding for business that is hard to match in other places. To grow and learn is also possible since we are aiming to create a broader pool of competence with the purpose to secure future challenges.
The position will be based in Gothenburg and reports to the Director Performance and Total Rewards
Who are we looking for
* Master of Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in working with general HR topics in a global context
* Experience from Merit review, position evaluation and salary setting in general and from International Position Evaluation system (IPE) as well as project management
* Experience in Labor affairs issues
* Customer focused with high business understanding
* Good communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
* Innovative with strongly developed analytical skills
* Fluent English, both written and spoken
