Compensation & Benefits is part of formulating the strategy to reach our corporate target of becoming Employer of Choice. We do this together with Talent Management specialists in our Corporate Center of Expertise (CoE). As specialists in the CoE we should be curious about development in all HR areas as well as being on top of the business challenges with a purpose to co-create solutions and support our global organization with expertise in their local needs.
A member of the Compensation & Benefits group at Volvo Cares will work closely with 6 other specialists ranging from Compensation issues to Pension, Benefits and insurance questions. We believe that development of both our products and each other are vital components to prepare for future challenges and therefore we believe we need to share our knowledge and opinions to be successful. The mission of the group is to support our strategy in creating global solutions and act as advisors to the business. We do this through our global network and regular business contacts. To work as senior expert in variable pay solutions means that you will work closely with a wide variety of people and competencies. You will on regular basis work with our Senior management team to discuss how a compensation solution could support their needs. The work has a clear global profile with regular contacts with local representatives around the world in which we support with knowledge and act as sounding boards for their wish to develop local solutions. In working with variable pay you will also work closely with corporate finance to secure the governance and ambitions set out in the different pay schemes. This is done from a clear mandate to run and own the variable pay processes. Our company is in strong transformation meaning that we also need to adjust our structures and solutions to meet the future needs. This means you will be challenged in areas where benchmark is limited and your creative ability is put to the test. Do want to be part of our success journey? As we are in transformation from a traditional hardware company to become a player on the Digital arena we are constantly looking for new ways to work with traditional topics. The position would ideally be based in Gothenburg but for the right candidate Stockholm could be an option as well.
Who are we looking for
* Master of Science or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of successful experience in working with Compensation issues in a global context
* Experience with working with job evaluations systems
* Experience from International Position Evaluation system (IPE)
* Experience in project management
* Customer focused with strong business understanding
* Good communication skills/building relationships
* Innovative with highly developed analytical skills
* Fluent English, both written and spoken
