Overview
We are looking for Compensation and Benefits Director Global Pensions to join our global team at Essity.

The Compensation and Benefits Director Global Pensions provides expert guidance, direction and leadership in the specific area of pensions, global employee insurances and benefit plans.
The position is located at the head office of Essity in the Waterfront Building in central Stockholm.
The role is global and reports to Vice President Compensation and Benefits, Group function Human Resources, and has management responsibility for two local pensions team in Germany and UK respectively.



Main Tasks
Develops strategies and policies for the assigned area, aligned with overall business and commercial objectives and strategies.
Leads the implementation of these policies and practices to business units, regions, divisions etc. to make sure that these are communicated effectively.
Provides executive management, HR as well as C&B function globally with advice and support in the area of expertise.
Manages projects or investigations related to development of policies and practices that are aiming for increased organizational efficiency.

Monitor and ensure that local pension and benefit plans are aligned with Group policies & guidelines and provide direction. Develop global governance model for defined contribution plans.
Lead and develop staff.
Negotiate and manage global vendors, e.g. insurance provider, actuaries and pooling network.
Participate in pension boards and committees to provide expertise.
Monitor benefits practices that are current in the international market to allow the organization to provide best-in-class offerings that aligns with business strategy.
Provides information for Group reporting, M&A and integration activities interfacing with other functions e.g. Finance, Accounting, Law, Treasury, and Risk Management.

Key Competencies
Bachelor's degree required with preference in economic or law
10+ years' experience in the area of expertise
5+ years leadership experience
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to multi-task while remaining focused on accuracy
Experience from working with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Ability to partner with other members of the HR team as well as cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
Human Resource Information System (HRIS) reporting capabilities
Advanced MS Office skills
Fluent in English
