Svea Solar ( Top Ten startups (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/linkedin-top-startups-2021-10-svenska-f%25C3%25B6retag-p%25C3%25A5-/?trackingId=t75BtxgIKs%2BI9H6mD8TwAQ%3D%3D)) is one of the biggest solar energy companies in Europe and we are on a mission to lead the global power shift to sustainable living. The greentech industry is booming and our shot at fixing the planet is now so speed, scalability and growth is paramount. As you may have guessed we are in a heavy growth- and expansion phase and we need to challenge, rethink and possibly redesign our compensation and benefits. In short - we need a Compensation and Benefits Specialist.

Do you want to take the lead on scaling and designing our compensation and benefits offering? Are you, like us, hell bent on fixing this planet? Then you might just have the mindset and boldness required for this position.

The Role
The purpose of your role is to set a global structure for our comp and ben in close collaboration with other specialists in the HR department. You will be our main expert within comp and ben and own all arising questions within that field. All in all, a great opportunity to have a huge impact on how we work today but also how we structure for our continuous growth.

As Compensation and Benefits Specialist at Svea Solar you'll be a part of our global HR team and report to Linn Hedström (https://www.linkedin.com/in/linn-hedstr%C3%B6m-177681103/) (she won't mind if you stalk her a bit).

What we expect you to do

• Take the lead for and administrate our global salary and benefits offering
• Collect and assess compensation and benefits data
• Analyze and drive necessary improvements based on the collected data
• Take part and contribute with new ideas on salary mappings
• Oversee (and challenge) our current salary-, title- and benefit structure globally and locally
• Keep the organization and stakeholders up to date on the lates news and trends

Who you are
The culture at Svea Solar is influenced by the high paced scale-up we are. We are a driven and ambitious company though it is clear throughout the organisation that we have an equal part heart - we care for the planet and each other. Preferably, you also embody this balance.

To succeed in this role we believe you have previous experience from a similar role and "know your way around" the compensation & benefit area. The role is both analytical and strategic, but as in any fast-growing company it is also hands-on, and you shouldn't be afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Feel free to challenge us but we'll fine comb your resume to find things like:

• 2-4 years of experience from a similar role (comp & ben, payroll specialist etc.)
• Have been a part of at least one full compensation & benefits annual cycle
• Experience of different type of salary structures (fixed, variable and bonus)
• Analytical skills and ability to identify when/where improvements should be made
• Experience from working with both white collar and blue collar employees
• A true executor who likes to take ownership and gets things done
• Fluent in english

If you have had a global scope within comp and ben previously and understand labour law in different markets it would be considered as a merit.
