What you'll do
GLL is the leading PUBG platform with over tens of thousands of turkish players. We arrange online and offline tournaments - making you an important point of contact for us and the turkish players. As our community manager, you will be working closely with professional players and influencers to make sure our users stay engaged on the GLL platform and get the support they need. You will get a lot of freedom to be creative and come up with new ideas on how to engage the turkish players. Further, you'll provide news and announcements to players in your local language via social media channels such as Discord, Twitter and more.
You will work closely with other community team and the esports team on finding the best ways for meaningful community engagement. Since we host tournaments during the evening, your work hours will vary which will require you to be flexible.
This could be a remote position meaning you don't need to work in our office in Stockholm, Sweden - unless you want to!
Who we think you are
We're looking for a gamer with a love for the turkish esports community, that wants to pursue a career in esports. We believe you live and breathe esports and are a part of multiple communities. You thrive to help our players and make sure they have all the support they need. This means you need to have great communication skills in both english and turkish.
Requirements:
• Previous work experience from a role that requires good communication skills
• Be fluent in both english and turkish, both in speaking and in writing.
• Good esports knowledge, especially in Battle Royale genre and PUBG
• Prior experience with Discord, Twitch and Twitter
Big plus if you:
• Have knowledge in other languages.
• Have prior experience from community management
• Have prior experience from working with PUBG
